Dog Sledding Tour Information

Tours go out 7 days a week at 10:00, 1:00, and 3:30.  We operate from the beginning of December through the end of March, snow conditions permitting.

The trail is 12 miles long and runs through the foothills of the Whitefish Range in the Stillwater State Forest.  Each tour lasts about an hour and a half, depending on trail conditions.  8 to 12 dogs pull each sled. Each sled comfortably fits 2 adults or a combination of adults and kids.  Our larger sled will hold 3 small adults or a family of 4 (2 average-sized adults and 2 small kids).  You will be seated on cushions and wrapped in a warm fur while your dogs and guide take you on an unforgettable experience.   

We can accommodate groups of any size.  We cater to all ages and disabilities.

Please dress appropriately for winter conditions. We recommend a warm coat, hat, boots, and goggles. Ski outfits will work.

Children 11 and under $100.00

(Cancellations must be made 48 hrs prior to the scheduled ride.  Cancellations made within those 48 hrs will be responsible for the full cost of the ride)

Whitefish to Dog Sled Adventures

Take 93 North out of Whitefish and go North towards Eureka and Canada.
Go 20 miles north of Whitefish.
You will pass a sign for Olney 18 miles north of Whitefish – just 2 more miles.
There are mile marker signs on the right side of the road, We are 3/4 of a mile past  Mile Marker 147
Turn Right on Running Dog rd.
Go about 1/4 mile and there is a gate w/ a dog on it, turn Right.  Go through the gate and UP the driveway.
